Prescription Refill Policy
To ensure that you receive your prescription refills in a timely manner please:
- Request refills during your appointment, if you are already expecting to see your physician.
- Have your pharmacy fax us a request if you need refills before your next appointment.
- Refrain from contacting the clerks/nurses about refills unless it is a true emergency; the calls to check on refill requests that have been entered and are pending physician approval only serve to slow down the process.
- Keep in mind that due to the physicians' obligations at the clinic and at the hospital, it may take several days for requests to be completed and returned to your pharmacy.
- Give us a minimum of 1-2 weeks notice when requesting refills; don't wait until you are down to your last pill.
